Jariel Ndeda Tops KCSE 2021 – Kenya Satellite News Network

Education Cabinet Secretary Goerge Magoha has released the National Secondary Examination results to day at Mitihani House where Jariel Ndeda Obura of Mang’u High School tops with a mean score of 87.16 per cent.

Magoha announced that 145, 000 students scored C+ and above.

This is the last national exam under president Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration and Magoha as the CS for education where over 800,000 students sat for the exams in 2021 in 10,413 centres.

“11 subjects scored have recorded a significant improvement. Over 50,000 students will be heading for training in preparation for junior secondary school transitioning from grade 6,” said Magoha.

Magoha announced a number of malpractices in various parts of the nation including teachers coaching students before exams and being in possession with mobile phones at examination centres.

1,138 students scored A plain.
