The early morning discovery of deputy president Willam Ruto’s chopper crash in Turkana causing the death of a pilot and four passengers has left Kenyans loudly questioning the source of money used in purchasing the ill fated plane.
The National Police Service said the chopper crashed at about 8 pm on Sunday at Central Island National Park in Lake Turkana, killing all its five occupants on board.

Turkana County Deputy Commissioner Alexander Motivo said the two planes were seen on Sunday evening approaching Lobolo tented camp but one crashed in Lake Turkana.
“The tourists were set to travel on Monday to Central Island that is about 75 km from the showers of Lake Turkana but one plane went missing and it didn’t land at Lobolo,” he said.
The development comes at a time Ruto is embroiled in a tough war of defending a number of his allies from a barrage of corruption allegations.
