Lack of coordination of stakeholders and experts in the startups and innovation sector is derailing the growth of the sector. Despite the immense development in the sector in the past years, the lack of coordination and sufficient policy strategies saw Kenya improve 1 position in the Global innovation ranking jumping from 86 in 2020 to 85 in 2021.
