Kenya to give FloorBall World Cup wide berth

Floorball Kenya Federation will not be fielding a team in the forthcoming Floorball World Cup in Switzerland in November due to financial constraints.

According to the operational Manager Kelvin Maina, only federation President Paul Maina and a few other officials will be traveling to Switzerland as officials but they hope to have the national teams ready for the next world cup as soon as possible.

Maina further pleaded with the government to allow them to use the available indoor arena for their league matches as well as prepare their national teams saying they have been using parking areas and school basketball courts for practice which has greatly affected their performance.

Both ladies and men teams are the African champions having won the African Championships three years ago held in Kenya.
