President Uhuru Kenyatta has underscored the need to enhance women empowerment and entrench gender equality in ongoing efforts to combat climate change. President Kenyatta who during national celebrations to mark International Women’s Day at the Kenya School of Government in Nairobi, outlined interventions his administration has implemented to advance the country’s gender agenda, saying Kenya has established a strong platform for women to participate in climate sustainability.
