A young lady has warmed hearts online after detailing the toil his 70-year-old dad endures to provide for his family.

Rawaharja, a teacher in Australia, shared sweet videos on Instagram that captured her dad’s daily activities that were truly remarkable.

In one video recorded on Tik Tok, she revealed to have wanted to see what a day’s work in her dad’s life would be like, who always woke up at 4.15am to pray then leave for work.

Rawaharja accompanied his dad to his workplace, which was at the Train station – where he worked as a transit staff.

She recorded the two of them on the train and revealed he was a Lebanese immigrant who had gone to provide a better life for his family.

“My dad never had options when he came to Australia, and because of his sacrifice, I have options,” she wrote.

Rawaharja’s dad has been in the job for 50 years as he continues to ensure his children are taken care of for now and the future.

She also shared a video on her father’s birthday which melted many hearts.

A few months back, TUKO.co.ke also told the story of a 54-year-old garbage collector who inspired many after his daughter graduates from a top university.

Tatay Cristito Quimado sat for an interview with GMA News to discuss his daily routine as a garbage collector, detailing the challenges he encounters collecting other people’s trash and often getting injuries from broken glasses.

Quimado revealed he had to endure all kinds of challenges in order to put all four of his children through school.

According to him, his work is not easy but he did it for his family because he believed education was the only thing that he could leave them.

As a garbage collector, he barely made anything substantial to provide for the family, but he did his best.

Quimado’s daughter, Jenny, graduated with a degree in Nutrition and Food Technology and expressed how grateful she was to her dad and how proud she is of him.
