Leicester suffer top 4 blow as Kane scores brace to guide Spurs to win

– Tottenham vs Leicester City ended in a heavy defeat for the Foxes

– Harry Kane found the back of the net twice in the space of three minutes

– James Justin opened the scoring as early as the 6th minute and Spurs now have one-foot in the Europa League

It was a rotten afternoon for Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, July 19, after Tottenham defeated the Foxes 3-0 with Harry Kane bagging a brace in space of three minutes.

Spurs looked determined from the first blast of the whistle and were already 1-0 ahead when James Justin held his head in his hands as he puts the ball past his own goalkeeper.

Son showcased some trickery on the edge of the box and was lucky as his effort deflected off Justin and goes in.

And in the 37th minute, it was 2-0 when Harry Kane finished off a delightful Tottenham counter attack.

And barely two minutes later, it was 3-0 when Kane completed his brace after he cut in on his right foot and curls the ball into the far corner.

With the restart in the second half, Leicester City who were determined to pull a comeback made quick changes with Ryan Bennett coming off for Demarai Gray, before Kelechi Iheanacho replaced Ayoze Perez.

Three other changes were made by desperate Foxes but all to no avail, with their quest for a Champions League spot now hanging on a thread.

With the result, Tottenham are now sixth on the Premier League standings with 58 points with one game left.
