The State funeral service for former President Mwai Kibaki is being conducted today, April 29th at Nyayo National Stadium.

President Uhuru Kenyatta confirmed Kibaki’s passing in a televised speech at State House in Nairobi last Friday, April 22nd.

At least ten heads of state and government are anticipated to fly into the country for the service.

The service is expected to run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
