Locals benefit from free medical camp by multi-agency security team

Locals from Ndonyoriwo benefited from a free medical camp and water from the multi-agency Security Team in Laikipia County.

The Multi-agency team extended their services to Ndonyoriwo Primary School and Dam Mbili Primary School.

The team conducted a free medical camp where many residents were treated for various medical conditions such as muscular and eye-related ailments as well as respiratory infections.

Laikipia’s problems are symptomatic of the situation in many of the arid and semi-arid counties.

The pastoralist communities have not only become victims of their environment, the residents have to walk far in search of water.

The security team appreciated the local community for their cooperation whilst, the locals thanked the troops for the kind gesture as it goes a long way in ensuring their health and social wellbeing are addressed.
