A Machakos businessman has been charged with obtaining goods worth close to half-a-million by false pretence.

He is alleged to have committed the offence on January 30, 2022, at Mavoko Business Park along Mombasa road within Machakos County,

Iringo denied having committed the offence when he was arraigned before Milimani senior magistrate Wendy Kagendo.

The magistrate directed him to post a bond of Sh 200,000, to get back his freedom.

The case will be mentioned on June 16 for directions on pre-trial.
