Mama Olive says her daughters and sister tested positive for COVId-19

Kenyan YouTuber and photographer Tatiana Karanja alias Mama Olive has disclosed that her two daughters tested positive for coronavirus.

Mama Olive shared the heartbreaking news on Wednesday, July 15 through her Instagram stories.

In her Instagram stories, the mother of two said they received their daughters’ positive tests results on Tuesday, July 14.

“Yesterday afternoon we got the news that our girls are now positive. They were tested on Monday. (Incubation period is up to two weeks),” she wrote.

The YouTuber thanked God saying that the little angels were yet to show any symptoms but had to keep monitoring them.

“Although I am thrilled to be with them again, these are really not ideal circumstances. Thank God right now they have no symptoms, same as us we just have to keep monitoring for anything, wrote Mama Olive.

In another post, Mama Olive revealed that her sister who was taking care of the kids while she was in quarantine was not spared as she also tested positive.

“And my amazing sister @katiwiki who took care of them while I left to isolate myself is also now positive. My girls must have given it to her, though at the time when we tested the tests showed they were negative. So as per doctor’s request, the kids stayed with their aunt who was also negative. Now it is a whole mess. COVID-19 sucks,” she added.

Meanwhile, a few days ago the vlogger through a series of Instagram videos revealed she had tested positive for the virus.

According to the mom, she had flu for two days and showed no symptoms of coronavirus.

Mama Olive said that the disease affected her mentally and the thought of staying away from her two kids for two months crushed her.
