Man names business premise after Wyre, singer impressed

“Ona sasa tunachorwa kwa matatu” That’s one of my favorite lines from Sauti Sol.

Because it was a passionate lyric which showed how long they’ve come as artists and the support they are getting from Kenyan fans.

Many artists are quick to take it to social media whenever they spot their faces painted on matatu.

However, not many get the privilege of having business premises named after them.

However, Wyre da love child is one of the lucky few.

The reggae and dance hall artist posted a photo of a khat (miraa/jaba) shop named after him. The name of the business premise reads, ‘Wyre jaba base’.

The impressed musician’s caption read,

Huku ni wapi niwatembelee? 

Well we can help but be happy for the business owner, since this means his business will get high profile endorsement as well as a chance to meet his/her idol.
