Man preying on Taraka Nithi Women Rep arrested – Weekly Citizen

A con artist who has been sending abusive and threatening text messages to the Women Representative Beatrice Nkatha was found with 38 SIM cards at the time of the arrest.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Nairobi headquarters also recovered other assortments including 20 safaricom card holders,three lists bearing hand written mobile numbers and names of National Assembly members and Senators.

The 38 SIM cards recovered from Joel Lawrence Nyamao included 19 safaricom SIM cards, 18 Aitel SIM cards as well as onme Telkom SIM card.

Nyamao who was arrested on Friday, June 21 will be taken to court on Monday.
