Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has reacted after his long-time friend, Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua decided to work with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Kuria and Karua have been working together for several months under Mt Kenya Forum, which also brought comprised former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo and former Cabinet Minister Mwangi Kiunjuri.
Speaking shortly after the Narc-Kenya boss officially joined Azimio and endorsed the former Prime Minister for the top seat, the lawmaker wished her well.
He said he would not challenge her decision as democracy allows everyone to make their choices.
“I respect the decision by my sister Martha Karua to join Azimio just she respected mine to join Kenya Kwanza of Deputy President William Ruto. Ultimately, Kenya is the winner and democracy will prevail. May the best team win,” he said.
Kabogo and Kiunjuri have also joined Kenya Kwanza.
Kuria is a fierce critic of Raila and he was in the headline recently after claiming the opposition chief was unfit to lead.
He cited an oath taken in 1969 where members of the Kikuyu community vowed that they will never support any Luo for the presidency.
