Mother of Murdered Purity Wangechi Collapses in Sad Video

The mother of murdered communication student, Purity Wangechi fell down and burst into tears at the Kiambu Law Courts where suspects will be charged.

In a video that was circulated on social media platforms, she was seen completely deflated.

Wangechi was a student at Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC).

She was in a relationship with VDJ flex, who is one of the three key suspects in her murder.

After learning that her DJ boyfriend was a thug in a gang that terrorizes people in Kiambu, the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication student broke up with him.

“Wangechi had fallen in love with the killer and had been seeing him for a while before learning that he was a thug,” the DCI said in a statement.

“She challenged him about it, which resulted in a misunderstanding. She had no idea, however, that her lover was hell-bent on covering his tracks by murdering her.”

VDJ Flex turned on her and killed her when she went to pick up her clothes in his house.

Wangechi was discovered with multiple stab wounds. Her body was dumped at Mburiria estate in Kiambu county.

The two other suspects are Kanaiya Kamau and Brendan Muchiri.

The prosecution has 14 days to conduct its investigation.
