Muthee Kiengei surprises elderly dad with a car on his birthday

Kameme FM presenter Muthee Kiengei treated his dad to a surprise of his life on Wednesday, July 15.

Posting on his Instagram account, the radio presenter shared two videos that showed his elderly dad receiving the car.

In one of the videos, Kiengei thanked his dad for always being there for them and ensuring that they achieved their dreams.

“Thank you dad. You brought us here and worked hard to see us grow. Enjoy your ride now. At your age, you are blessed. Wish mama was alive to see this,” he wrote.

The old man was helped inside the car and later received the keys which he blessed and thanked his son for the gift.

The moment was very emotional as the old man broke down to tears.

“I have received the car. May God bless this car and the driver. I have received this car as a gift from you Gathungu,” said his dad.

Kiengei surprised his dad with the ride on his birthday and he wished his mom was alive to witness the big day.

“Be happy papa. May you be graced with more years to enjoy,” he wrote.

His fans took to the comment section and applauded the presenter for recognising and celebrating his dad.

A fan identified as Waihenya wrote:

“This is soo emotional, he is soo proud of the son and blessing him.”

Another Instagram user identified as joseecutz commented:

‘May God answer him upon those words and bless you @kiengeimuthee.”

In early 2019, Kiengei came to the rescue of a young boy who won hearts online after he was caught gushing over sweets and biscuits.

In the video which went viral, the boy could be seen telling a salivating tale of how he craved for the snacks which he apparently saw at a nearby party.

The boy was reportedly chased away from the party for being too shabby-looking.
