Oscar Sudi says Raila has no role in Jubilee purge in parliament

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has said the ruling Jubilee Party has been hijacked by people of questionable characters with malicious intent.

The vocal lawmaker, however, noted wrangles within the President Uhuru Kenyatta’s camp had nothing to do with ODM leader Raila Odinga’s working with the government.

He said, Raila, just like any other politician took advantage of the confusion and infighting pitting Uhuru against his Deputy William Ruto over leadership positions.

“We are the people who founded this party called Jubilee. I went around with Uhuru during campaigns but today, the party is home to conmen and other funny characters. Raila has no role in the fall out, he just took advantage just like Gideon Moi,” he claimed.

The lawmaker who was speaking at a burial in Soy constituency on July 17, also he had lost interest in working under Uhuru including serving in any parliament committee.

“I don’t want to be elected in any committee. I don’t salivate for any position in the Jubilee regime until such a time when God will bless us with leadership. Grab all the positions, you can as well dissolve the party. We are not beggar,” he added.
