Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome has urged political leaders allied to Kenya Kwanza to put off self based interests and enhance their campaigns ahead of the August polls.
While in Murang’a, Wahome said parties affiliated to the Alliance should not complain on why the coalition’s flag bearer is not campaigning for their parties saying as the leader of Kenya Kwanza alliance, Deputy President William Ruto remains neutral.

The Kandara MP said the leaders should instead focus on ensuring the Kenya Kwanza Alliance carries the presidential win in the August polls.
Meanwhile, a section of aspirants in Makueni county under the United Democratic Alliance have urged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to ensure a free, fair and credible election come August 9th.
The aspirants led by Gubernatorial aspirant Prof Emmanuel Mutisya and Senatorial aspirant Bob Kisyula said the electoral body should ensure peaceful campaigns and a fair playing ground.
