Police Cars Spotted Entering Martha Karua’s Rural Home After Running Mate Nomination

It seems Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua has started to enjoy trapping of power hours after Azimio la Umoja One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga picked her as his running mate.

After the big announcement at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), police have been seen arriving at Karua’s rural home in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County.

Litkenya.com has sighted a video of police from Kutus driving into Karua’s residence. The police car was parked in the compound.

Uniformed officers started a chat within the compound.

Apparently, moving forward the residence will be under police surveillance.

The law provides that the government must provide 24-hour security to all presidential candidates and their running mates.

In the event a presidential candidate or their running mate dies mysteriously, the election can be cancelled.

In his fifth stab at the presidency, Raila is enjoying the backing of the government machinery, a key component he has has always lacked.

In his last three attempts, the former Prime Minister has accused the State of using the “deep state” to rig him out.
