“William Ruto is not being insulted at his home ground, so Uhuru should be respected too,” she added.

The lawmaker said Ruto was very bitter with the president’s handshake with former prime minister Raila Odinga, just because he wanted to succeed President Uhuru.

“We are in the handshake to stay, Ruto should not cross the line just because he wants to succeed his boss, let him come slow,” she noted.

Waruguru advised Uhuru to let go of Ruto if he wants to govern in peace because the DP has outlived his usefulness and he was much impatient on the 2022 pact deal.

Interestingly, Waruguru was one of the strong supporters of the DP until recently when he ditched the Tanga Tanga team after meeting ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
