Four men have been charged with conspiracy to kill Kibera-Lindi ward MCA Jairus Omaya.
Josphat Nabutola, Wilson Ochilo (brother in-law) , Kelvin Chakuto and Wycliffe Mugani appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi and denied the charges of conspiring to murder the MCA.
The four are accused of conspiring to murder Omaya on February 4 this year unknown place, jointly with others not before court.
Prosecution told the court that they were armed with dangerous weapons including a panga and metallic hammer, in circumstances that indicated they armed with intent to commit murder. They were arrested along Ngong road in Kilimani sub-county they
They were remanded in custody for 14 days, pending completion of investigation and bail application. Prosecution told the court they will be opposing bail.
