Ghetto Radio presenter Celina Njoki has finally been given a clean bill of health after 21 days of being hospitalised at the Kijabe Mission Hospital following a complicated birth.
Njoki, popularly known as Browngal is however yet to leave the health facility as she is required to raise a KSh 800, 000 hospital bill before she can be released.

Speaking to the Kenyan Digest the presenter said both her insurance cover and National Health Insurance Fund were covering a small fraction of the bill leaving her with the biggest share.
” Insurance is only paying KSh 50, 000 and NHIF is paying KSh 4,000 only per day. So aam supposed to raise the remaining bill,” she added.
According to Njoki, her health insurance claimed they would only cover her maternity charges ignoring doctor’s letter indicating what she was undergoing not a maternity case.
The hospital, on the other hand, said they would only accept a surety to in order to release her once the bill was reduced to KSh 100,000.
Just days after welcoming her baby boy, Njoki was admitted in the health facility’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) underwent surgery on Wednesday, June 3.
The presenter was later transfused after wellwishers and friends gathered at the hospital to donate blood which saw them getting 7 pints of it.
The former Mother-in-law actress has been battling a rare medical condition identified as Acquired Haemophilia (AH) for the past few years.
Acquired Haemophilia (AH) is a rare autoimmune disorder characterized by bleeding that occurs in patients with a family history of haemorrhages.
Autoimmune disorders occur when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy cells or tissue.
The Niaje Niaje presenter was blessed with a baby boy on Monday, June 1, before she developed complications and was rushed back to the hospital.
Njoki is now appealing to well-wishers to help her raise the funds so she can be able to clear the hospital bill and go home to nurse her newborn baby.
