Radio presenter Muthoni wa Kirumba quits Kameme after 12yrs

Top vernacular radio presenter Muthoni wa Kirumba has quit Kameme FM after 12 years. Muthoni made the announcement on Thursday evening through his Facebook page.

“It’s been good working with Kameme FM for 12 good years of laughter and love. Thanks to my listeners. It’s time to say goodbye,” she said. Muthoni did not, however, reveal her next destination.

Muthoni has been hosting the mid-morning show together with comedian Kihenjo. She started her work at Kameme by hosting an afternoon show. In 2016, she was moved to the mid-morning section which she has been hosting ever since.

Prior to joining Kameme, Muthoni had worked as a radio presenter at Bahasha FM.

Muthoni hails from a Nyandarua County, where her father has served as a politician in the position of councilor and Member of County Assembly.
