Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement General Miguna Miguna declared opposition chief Raila Odinga,a coward of the highest.
Speaking in Washington DC during a live interview with Citizen TV host Jeff Koinange, Miguna said Raila was not ready for the swearing in and had engaged his pushers in a cat and mouse game.
Miguna for the first time revealed how the ODM leader dodged the matter severally despite mounting pressure from his loyal followers across the country.
According to Miguna, the first ceremony to swear in Raila as the fourth President of Kenya was supposed to be conducted in Jimmy Wanjigi’s house in Muthaiga but Raila was not ready.
The idea was to bank on the latest technology to transmit the ceremony across the globe in a matter of seconds after it was recorded.
The former Prime Minister was even pushed to cross to the neghbouring Tanzania for swearing in given how he had boasted of a close relationship with President Pombe Magufuli.
But the organizers were again disappointed when he chicken out of the deal.
According to Miguna, plans were later hatched to conduct the event in Kilifi and Raila even told him to pick a plane at the Wilson Airport and was to be later picked by Raila’s car once in Mombassa.
Again nothing happened and it was only the Uhuru park event that saw Raila being sworn in.
This happened in such a disorganized manner that he did not read his original speech apart from leaving the venue in a huff.
Miguna revealed it had been planned that everybody camped at Uhuru Park after the ceremony for a period of time as opposed to Raila’s decision to disappear immediately after the swearing in moment.
