A campaign billboard displaying the images of Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua has been vandalised in Bomet County, a stronghold of Deputy President William Ruto.
The huge banner was installed on Thursday and defaced hours later.
No suspects have been arrested by the time of filing this report.
Police in the area said the vandalism has not been reported.
This comes in the wake of political intolerance in some parts of the country.
Recently, Dr Ruto claimed that his billboard had been brought down by unknown people in Kisumu County where his competitor, Raila enjoy a near-fanatical following.
However, ODM Director of Communication Philip Etale rubbished the claims, insisting that the outdoor board was still standing.
Sharing pictures of the said billboard, Etale accused the DP of trying to portray the Luo Community in a bad light to the rest of the country.
