REVEALED: DP Ruto secretly reaching out to Odinga in a new plot twist

Deputy President William Ruto knows, more than anyone else that in politics there are no permanent enemies. This old adage is confirmed by reports the DP and his men have started sending emissaries to ODM leader Raila for a meeting.

On Thursday night, it is claimed former Majority Leader in the Senate Kipchumba Murkomen met with leaders from Raila Odinga’s camp for almost two hours. The meeting which happened at a location in Karen acted as a springboard to the upcoming Raila-Ruto meeting.

”The two can still work together, there are no permanent enemies in politics. Raila and Ruto are an exception,” said one of the senior officials from DP Ruto’s office.

Raila and Ruto do not see eye to eye politically after the two fell out in 2009 when Odinga was the Prime Minister and Ruto the then Agriculture Minister. The relationship between the two has deteriorated even further following the handshake between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
