New details have emerge that panic has gripped President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto following the International Criminal Court (ICC) new developments despite their being dropped due of lack of adequate evidence.

It has been reported that Kenya has strongly opposed the the idea of International Criminal Court to replace the court’s Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda.

Reports further indicated that ICC wants to replace Bensouda and some of the candidates in line to take Bensouda’s position are Irish international lawyer Fergal Gaynor from Malawi, Susan Okalany from Uganda, Richard Roy from Canada and Morris Anyah from Canada.

Reported also indicated that the most likely candidate to replace Bensouda is Fergal Gaynor who was in the front line in defending the victims of the post-election violence in Kenya against the President and his deputy.

This has brought some panic to both President Uhuru Kenyatta and honorable William Ruto because there are some possibilities that their cases which were thrown can be reopened again if at all the lawyer who was defending the post-election victims will be elected to replace Fatou Bensouda will find more evidence in relation to their case.

It also emerged that the government of Kenya also wrote to the International Criminal Court claiming that the candidates who were lined up to replace Bensouda are not the best replacement of Bensouda since they have very minimal managerial experience in large international institutions.
