The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga’s elder brother Dr. Oburu Odinga has revealed why the opposition chief who has been championing the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) project may not take part in the upcoming BBI event.
Odinga’s family spokesperson Dr. Oburu Odinga has notified that when the former Prime Minister is currently seeking medical attention outside the country return, he will not take part in the of the upcoming BBI events considering he is not in the good shape to do so now.
Our further clarified that upon the return of the ODM leader the Nation should give him humble time to fully recover asserting that he will be expected to spend more time in bed for a full recovery.
Oburu also hinted that the African Union Special Envoy of Infrastructure is also expected to miss the handing over event of the BBI report as earlier notified by the BBI Steering Committee Chairman Yusuf Haji.
“He is well and ready to come back but will not indulge in the rigorous BBI political process. He will need some rest for some time,” Raila’s brother asserted.
The former Premier, however, remarked earlier that Kenyans should not worry about his health since he is feeling very Strong and rejuvenated, hinting returning back to politics as soon as his return back in the country.
“I feel really great to be out of the hospital and I’ll be doing my usual jigs very soon,” Mr. Odinga asserted earlier.
