Gospel artist Ringtone Apoko denounces Forbes list of the richest musicians in Africa, says he is the richest singer in East Africa followed by Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz.
Apoko: “Next time Forbes include gospel singers too. Don’t be afraid of putting me in position one because truth will set you free. Diamond Platnumz is number two in Africa when gospel is included.”
Forbes recently released the list that ranked African richest artists which featured Kenya’s Akothee at number 15 while Diamond at position 28.
Diamond Platinumz also rubbished the list asking the Forbes team to do proper research. The Wasafi records CEO claims that he was greatly undervalued and is worth more than several artist that made it to the top ten.
