Principals, headteachers and TSC officers from Trans-Nzoia county are complaining about two TSC officers from Nairobi office led by one Mr Thuranira who is allegedly ever demanding up to Sh200,000 so that he can give them transfer whenever there is a principal or teacher involved in canal knowledge. Thuranira promises to assist them to get transfer. He also calls the corrupt and threatens them with serious action if they do not give him money.

The teachers expressed their concern that his main job is to wake up every morning and check what is new in newspapers so that he start making calls claiming that he is the top officer from TSC and he has been instructed to give a resignation, dismissal or warning letters and demands Sh50,000.
The teachers now are urging Education CS George Magoha and TS boss Nancy Macharia to take action on Thuranira who is making teachers work under stress because of threats, and also force him to return money he has been getting from principals, headteachers from primary schools and other TSC officers.
