A move by Deputy President William Ruto to hit at Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission EACC and Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) in front of President Uhuru Kenyatta during the National Prayer meeting at Safari Park hotel forced Uhuru to cut short his speech.

Uhuru has been on forefront in fighting corruption and has always defended EACC and DCI in the war.

Ruto move to disrespect the two institutions for challenging clergy not to receive bribes did not go down well with Uhuru.

Further, Ruto claim some of them came from poor background hence value the church compared to Uhuru who was born in riches, annoyed the President.

It forced Uhuru to make his speech in less than three minutes.

Present was South Sudan President Silva Kir.
