Sad! Jalang’o exposes Churchill Show comedians leading fake Instagram lives

Getting to the limelight might bring you fame, popularity but there is one thing a public figure may never accept as part of their lives – that they might not always afford the Instagram life.

This is a reality many fail to accept and one that comes knocking soon as you turn a deaf year to these facts.

We don’t need to look far after popular comedian Jalang’o publicly admitted that majority of budding comedians on big platforms like Churchill Show are always striving to lead a fake life until they can afford it no more.

In as much as society is quick to blame certain individuals who sit at the top for causing young comedians depression and suicide, Jalang’o clarified that most comedians voluntary drive themselves into depression.

You find a comedian comes to Churchill Show today [sic], people have loved him/her. Fans continue to show him love tomorrow and the next day and the comedian already starts bragging like a celebrity.

So these comedians make major changes in their lives. Right from the houses they live in, to the cars they drive, to the kind of Instagram life they showcase.

They are already too proud, instead of boarding their usual mat, they are already riding in Ubers. They even move out to a better place. Remember, they have just done 3 shows and they already want to immediately change their lifestyle.

Unfortunately, at the beginning, it might favor you but as time goes by, you can afford it no more!

So your contract stipulates how much you are going to get paid, let’s say 5,000 per show but this is not money that can sustain your flashy lifestyle. Majority of these comedians had rather hire a car or ride an Uber to a show, but they cannot even pay for it but they still insist on doing it. Because now they think they are already superstars.

The former Milele FM presenter revealed that one comedian got nabbed by his friends for lying about his wealth only for him to eventually get caught.

You cannot live the kind of life Mwalimu Churchill leads or even mine as Jalang’o in one day! There is a comedian who used to hire a car and lied to people that that is his car. But when the other comedians went to hire their own cars, they see this very same car the comedian was alleging to be his in the parking and so they hired it. The rest was history…
