Salary and allowances William Ouko will earn as Supreme Court judge

Supreme Court Judge Salary: Justice William Ouko is set to make a fresh milestone in his illustrious career. He will be the new judge in the Supreme Court bench. This is after getting nominated to the position by the Judicial Service Commission.

As Supreme Court judge, Justice William Ouko will earn Sh. 757,770 in basic salary. This pay will be boosted by allowances and benefits that will raise his total monthly pay to 1,082,528. This means that his allowances at his new position will be equivalent to Sh. 324,758.

Prior to his nomination as Supreme Court judge, Justice William Ouko worked at the Court of Appeal where he was the President of the Court of Appeal.

Apart from salaries, judges in Kenya are entitled to benefits that include official transport, a medical scheme, pension, life insurance and personal accident cover, among others.
