Media mogul SK Macharia was among the high-profile businessmen who attended the Bukhungu II meeting in Kakamega County where ODM leader Raila Odinga was approved to run for President in a declaration signed by Luhya elders.

The event was being streamed live by Citizen TV, which is owned by Macharia.

At one time of the broadcast, cameras were focused on Macharia, who was on his phone.

Apparently, the billionaire was not paying attention to what the speaker was saying.

Instead, he was watching and keenly following something from his smartphone. Perhaps he was live-streaming the event on Citizen TV.

The tycoon also addressed the mammoth crowd.
He pledged to continue supporting the former Prime Minster using his resources.

Macharia noted he was confident that the opposition leader will win the presidency in 2022 after flopping in 1997, 2007, 2013, and 2017.

“Baba is my friend and I have been with him for many years. In all my 14 radio stations and three TV channels, we are going to tell Kenyans that Raila Odinga is the fifth President of Kenya. I don’t make mistakes,” he said.
