Reports from Harambee Stars camp in Egypt claim tension is high after 1 2-0 loose to Algeria.
Players are said to be silently revolting and even questioning the way the selection was made.
Being blamed are FKF President Nick Mwendwa and coach Sebastian Migne.
The players are questioning why they camped in France, the home country of the head coach yet the climate in the country is different from that of Egypt.
To them, they could have camped in one of the Middle East countries.
Others say, Nick Mwendwa influenced the line-up that is becoming costly.
They claim, the coach fielded Joseph Okumu in defense and sidelined David Calaba Owino.
Okumu is based in USA playing for a third tie side while Calaba plays for Zesco in Zambia.
In the midfield, he left out industrious and experienced Teddy Akumu who was dropped in favour of Joash Onyango .
Onyango was knocked out on injury grounds.
Jesse Were and Allan Wanga factor is also haunting Harambee Stars management team as players are complaining the duo could have played a role in Egpyt.
Harambee Stars technical bench is said to be confused after the loose.
Tempers are said to have flared in the dressing room and extended to the hotel where the team is staying.
Whereas players are blaming the technical team, the management itself blames the players.
The coach favours foreign players at the expense of local ones.
It was misery for Harambee Stars on Sunday at the 30 June Stadium in Egypt after losing 2-0 to Algeria in an Africa Cup of Nations Group C encounter.
This was Harambee Stars’ first appearance in the competition in 15 years and Sebastien Migne’s men were looking to extend the superb run of form they had in the qualifiers and preparation friendlies into the continental showpiece.
