Guests attending the Madaraka Day celebrations at the Uhuru Gardens on Wednesday were treated to an outstanding display of the Military.
The Military display kicked off just after the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) parade with President Uhuru Kenyatta inspecting the Guard of Honour.
Being Uhuru’s last National Celebrations in office, the KDF went all out to display their military paraphernalia as a way of bidding farewell to the head of State.

Speaking on Tuesday Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho revealed that the military will go heavy on display of its hardware to commemorate the last public holiday that Uhuru will oversee.
“We will heavily showcase military hardware because the KDF needs to say goodbye to the Commander-in-Chief because it will probably be the last day he will conduct a national day,” Kibicho said
