Tanga Tanga Apologizes To Miguna For Cheering Uhuru as He Sent The General to Exile

Tanga tanga wing led by blogger Dennis Itumbi has publicly apologized to Miguna Miguna following the exiled politician’s double deportation in 2018.

Miguna was deported twice after he played a key role in the controversial swearing in of opposition leader Raila Odinga as the ‘People’s President’ on January 30, 2018 before a charged crowd at Uhuru Park.

At the time, Itumbi, who worked at State House, was vocal on social media, justifying Miguna’s deportation even though the courts would later rule it was not done as per the law.

And now, two years later, Itumbi, who has since been sacked from State House, has admitted he was wrong back then.

He has also offered an apology to Miguna and Kenyans at large.

“The Prefecrure led by @FredMatiangi & @Karanjakibicho called me to explain why they were disobeying Court orders issued in favour @MigunaMiguna – I listened & agreed with them. I was wrong to cheer them on. I offer my UNCONDITIONAL apology to Country & Miguna,” Itumbi tweeted on Monday.

“I will remember next time to stand on the side of the law and ignore the interpretation of the prefecture that is obviously laced with dictatorship aforethought,” he added.

After saying SORRY for joining the Prefecture to cheer on the disobedience of Court Orders on the @MigunaMiguna matter. I add my voice for the #Dictatorship to immediately facilitate the return of Miguna to his home Country. Nothing justifies his continued lock out from Kenya.

Itumbi’s comments came on a day Chief Justice David Maraga accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of repeatedly disobeying court orders. Itumbi is now leading a hashtag on Twitter dubbed Uhuru the dictator
