‘They thought I was promoting rape’ Njugush on worst cyber bullying experience

As Njugush and other celebrities are trying to create content for their fans to help ease the tension and make some money, trolls are also thriving.

We have seen this issue being addressed more over the last couple of weeks. Khaligraph even dropped a whole song, Hao featuring Masauti. This got comedian Njugush to reminisce on the day he was seriously trolled in the early stages of his career.

He says there was a time he could not sleep after he did a video with his wife that some fans misinterpreted. The online comedian was forced to make a public apology after posting a clip that many believed promoted rape.

The clip, which he shot with his wife, had Njugush jokingly complaining to his wife, Celestine Ndinda saying that they need to go home together after he spent so much money on her after going out.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Njugush said he woke up to social media trolls which saw him trend online.

“I was trying to explain to my fans the meaning of the clip, but none seemed to understand. The following day, I was trending.” Njugush narrated

Adding that church that Sunday was not the same,

I kept on logging in to check what they were saying. I mean, cyberbullying is bad

As April comes to an end, Mulamwah and Bahati take the top spot when it comes to cyberbullying and trending.

In Khaligraph’s song, the message was majorly that these celebrities that people troll especially KOT, are only human and they have feelings to so basically this trend should stop.
