Three bodies of four Kitengela men who went missing on April 19, 2021 were on Thursday, April 29 recovered by police officers.

The first body of Elijah Obuong was found at Murang’a mortuary.

Reports indicate that the body was spotted by sand harvesters in Mukangai river on April 20, 2021 after which it was taken to the mortuary.

The second body of Benjamin Imbai was found at General Kago Funeral Home in Thika.

According to journalist Abdikarim Hussein, the body is said to have been taken to the mortuary on April 20, 2021.

The third body was found in Mathioya River.

According to the police reports, the four Murang’a men went missing on the fateful day and their mobile phones went off.

The development sent fear to their family members about their whereabouts, a move that reinstated the family members to engage the police officers.

In the prior report as per their family members, the four men were all working in the car hire business and their are speculations doing rounds on social media that there might have been a deal that went sour occasioning their deaths.
