Top Makeup Artist Shot Dead by Hubby, Who Threatened Her Several Times

A prominent makeup artist in Mwanza, Tanzania has reportedly been murdered by her husband.

According to Swahili World, Swalha Salum, 28, was shot more than five times by her spouse.

It is believed that she arrived home late after which a disagreement ensued.

Said Oswayo pulled out his gun and fired at her several times. She died on the spot as the suspect went into hiding.

Authorities launched a manhunt for him, but sadly he also shot himself before being caught, acting Mwanza police commander Mairi Makori said.

Sources disclosed that the couple has been having marital issues in recent months.

Swalha is reported to have moved out of their matrimonial house on several occasions when her husband threatened to eliminate her.

However, she would always return after a short time.
