Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) news anchor Purity Museo has announced her exit from the media station.

Taking to Twitter, Museo disclosed that she is leaving the broadcaster after three and a half years.

She however did not disclose her next move.

“Ecclesiastes 3:1; ‘For everything, there is a season, A time for every activity under heaven.’ It’s been a great honor working for the national broadcaster @KBCChannel1 for the last 3 and half years. It’s another season for me. Glory to God. Thank you my viewer, thank you KBC,” she wrote.

Museo was anchoring the 9 pm bulletin alongside Tom Mboya who made a comeback to the national broadcaster a year ago after it was rebranded.

According to reports, Museo will be joining the Mombasa Road-based Kenya Television Network (KTN) which is owned by the Standard Media Group.

At KTN, Museo will retain her roles which include anchoring news and producing and reporting on health shows, which was also her specialty at KBC.
