UDA Nominations: Bomet Woman Rep Runs For Dear Life After Chaotic Scenes

Chaos erupted during the ongoing United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party primaries in some parts of Bomet County.

Bomet Woman Representative Joyce Korir sparked violent confrontations after questioning the manner in which the exercise was being carried out.

She broke down to tears, accusing the wheelbarrow party of hatching a plot to rig her out.

She claimed that pre-marked ballot papers had been ferried in the county last night.

“Putting Deputy President William Ruto to shame within our area (Rift Valley),” the teary lawmaker said.

What followed was fist fights after she was attacked by some UDA supporters.

A section of UDA aspirants have also aired their grievances after suspecting that there were officials helping their rivals win.
