Kenya’s youngest MP John Paul Mwirigi may not set foot in the next parliament after it emerged numbers in the just concluded UDA nominations did not favour him.
According to social media reports, the Igembe South lawmaker performed badly in the primaries and there are high chances that he will not get the much coveted UDA ticket.
Mwirigi was elected in 2017 as an independent candidate.
Barely a week ago, he threatened to return the Prado President Uhuru Kenyatta gifted him in 2017 after his victory.
He noted that the car was not giving him peace since some leaders like Agriculture CS Peter Munya kept reminding him about the gift.
In a long social media post, the youthful legislator said the car cannot influence his political decisions.
He affirmed his support for Deputy President and UDA party leader William Ruto.
According to him, Munya was blackmailing him to rally behind the Head of State because of the gift.
