Uhuru beats DP Ruto in his own game after fallout in Jubilee

Details have emerged on how president Uhuru Kenyatta outsmarted his deputy William Ruto, beating him in his own game after DP Ruto’s allies defied his directive to stop premature campaigns.

Reports indicate that the moles were secretly planted within the DP’s circles to provide intelligence even as the DP embarked on crafting a strategy to win the 2022 presidential elections.

This saw a number of politicians especially from the Mount Kenya region switch sides, dumping President Uhuru Kenyatta’s side in support of DP Ruto’s. Media reports indicate that a number of them were actually spies deployed to monitor the on-goings within the rebel Tangatanga outfit and provide updated information.

In realization of this, media reports indicate that the DP is in the process of implementing a purge to weed out the suspected to be more as well as those who are not supportive of his 2022 agenda.

Those targeted include several Cabinet Secretaries, a Rift Valley MP,and a Mount Kenya Woman Representative within his camp who has been accused of leaking information to the rival Kieleweke camp.

Sources within the DPS camp intimated to Daily Nation that ” in 2022, the DP will be the country’s candidate after he deputizes for the president. We have good plans and insiders in the government who will ensure he succeeds Uhuru”.
