President Uhuru Kenyatta has this evening, Sunday, July 19, left Kenyans on the streets of Nairobi excited after making a brief stopover to greet them.
In videos shared on social media, the president gave a short address to eager Kenyans who wanted to shake his hands but his alert security detail could not allow.
The head of state was also spotted interacting with Kenyans at Railways some moments later while inspecting the work by the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS).
According to pictures shared on social media, the first in command made his way to the stadium in the company of his motorcade to check the progress of late Mzee Moi’s memorial service.
On Sunday, April 26, the head of state also drove to Ndenderu, Kiambaa at around 1.25pm and hailed police officers for doing a good job in prohibiting movement in and out of Nairobi when the cessation of movement order was in place.
