President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta have Monday received visiting President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio and his spouse Fatima Maada Bio at State House, Nairobi.
The elaborate state reception ceremony included a Guard of Honour mounted by a detachment of the Kenya Air Force and a 21-Gun Salute.

President Julius Maada Bio is in the country on a State Visit during which he will be the Chief Guest at this year’s Madaraka Day national celebrations at Uhuru Gardens.
President Julius Maada and his delegation arrived in the country Saturday night ahead of his five-day State visit.
He was received by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amb Raychelle Omamo and is expected to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta for bilateral talks.
During his visit, seven MoUs aimed at further enhancing relations will be signed.
