Uhuru presides over cadets commissioning parade

President Uhuru Kenyatta is Thursday presiding over the commissioning parade of intake 40 Graduate General Service Officer Cadets at the Kenya Military Academy (KMA) in Lanet, Nakuru County.

The President, who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, was received at the academy by Defence CS Eugene Wamalwa, Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Robert Kibochi and KMA Commandant Maj.Gen. Fatuma Ahmed.

The President urged the new cadets to serve the country with dedication and endevour to protect the constitution of Kenya at all costs.

He said the government will continue to ensure the country’s armed forces receive the highest level of security training given the ever changing security environment that is threatened by terrorism.
