Uhuru, Raila work on government of National unity – Weekly Citizen

Talk is rife, president Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga are working on the government of National Unity.

Set to be brought on board is Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyokla and his ANC counterpart Musalia Mudavadi.

Already according to our source, the decision by Jubilee pro Uhuru strategists to include Mudavadi and Kalonzo to oversee the launch of Huduma Namba is part of the power game.

We have information, the Nasa principals have also been invited to grace Uhuru State of Nation address at parliament building. The move to engage Raila, Mudavadi and Kalonzo is said not to have been received well by Deputy President William Ruto who is reading political shortchange in the move.

ODM chief Raila, Tourism CS Najib Balala and CAS Rashid Amani will on April 5,officiate National Integrated Identity Management System in Mombasa.

Cabinet secretaries, PSs, CASs and opposition leaders are to oversee the launch .Ruto has been given Kakamega county.

Mudavadi,Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and his ICT counterpart Joe Mucheru will be in Machakos.

Musyoka will on Wednesday,10 April accompanied by Cabinet secretaries Margaret Kobia (Public Service) and Peter Munya (Trade and Industry),  in Meru.

Defence CS Raychelle Omamo and Devolution CAS Nelson Marwa will be in Homa Bay.

On April 12, two government delegations led by Education PS Colleta Suda and Youths PS Francis Owino will be in Kisumu and Migori, respectively.

Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju will be in Siaya on April 15. Foreign Affairs CAS Ababu Namwamba will lead a similar exercise in Busia.
