VIDEO: Bety Kyalo responds after reports of flying to Dubai with Joho surfaces online

The former K24 TV news anchor Betty Kyallo has responded to claims that she flew to Dubai with Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed to see the opposition Chief Raila Odinga.

The two ODM lawmakers went to Dubai to visit the ODM leader who traveled to Dubai to seek medical attention where he underwent surgery.

In photos that were shared by Junet and Joho aboard a private jet, a brown bag was noticed and it was compared to an old photo of the media personality carrying a brown handbag, leading to the conclusion that she had traveled with the two lawmakers to Dubai.

This prompted Betty to respond as other users based their assumptions on an apparent friendship between the Governor and the media personality.

“Hey people, I here that I traveled to Dubai. Anyways, I am not in Dubai and I am going to enjoy lunch with my friend. We are going to get some Nyama Choma delicacy,” Betty responded.

Betty further asked her fans to stay calm and stop listening to the rumors as she was in the country running her errands.
