The outspoken Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru has finally spoken on ditching the Deputy President William Ruto’s Camp after one month down the line to join the ODM chief Raila Odinga in advocating for the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
For the longest time, Waruguru had declared her support to the second in command before meeting the former prime minister in his Capitol Hill office on 10 June.
The lawmaker on Friday 10 July hosted quite a number of officials in her office to unveiled pilot project asserting that the county will be delighted to carry on with the project.
Waruguru further noted her progress since she shifted to President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila’s side adding that she so pleased with her decision to ditch the DP’s Tanga Tanga camp.
“Now today marks my very first month since I did a handshake with the Mzee, Raila Odinga and getting the blessings of the president, I should be the true messiah of spreading the gospel that works is being done as it is supposed to be done, thank you so much….” she stated.
According to reports, Raila’s spokesperson Dennis Onyango disclosed that Waruguru had given her full commitment to working with the two handshake partners to push for the nation’s unity through the proposed constitutional reforms.
